Hildegard Müller
Hildegard Müller is a member of the German Bundestag, representing the city of Düsseldorf. She is chairwoman of the German-Israeli Parliamentary Friendship Group and a member of the Committee on Health and Social Security. Müller is also a member of the presidium of the CDU. She has studied business economics, is a banker by profession, and an employee of Dresdner Bank. Ms. Muller is Chairwoman of the General Executive Management Board of the German Association of Energy and Water Industries (Bundesverband der Energie- und Wasserwirtschaft - BDEW), Berlin.
In 2005, she was appointed Minister of State by Chancellor Angela Merkel, where she was responsible for Federal/State coordination of the German federal government and for issues relating to the reduction of administrative burdens.
She is Chairperson of the Society of German Friends of Yad Vashem,
